In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Is this first verse of Genesis to be taken figuratively, or spiritual? What does it mean? When the author wrote this down what was He (oops, he) thinking?
Perhaps this is mythical or poetical. Is it valid to view it either of those ways?
What if it is literal? Then what?
Then what?
Stay bright,

Spiritual would be just that.. when Moses wrote as if he was telling us that God is our creator and the one to follow .. that is what God told moses to write and we know the Bible is God's word everything in it is true,, it can't be mythical because you would be following gods not God Himself...It was just that In the beginning God created Heaven and earth simple as that.. No big band theory,,,, or any others just look around and look at all the things .Life.. trees, people the land , stars, planets, etc.. the beauty in everything only God could of created these things..
God our creator our Father,, The One and only.. etc...
