Time

Time is a commodity that attracts many robbers.

From the first to the last there are still 24 hours in a day. What will you do with yours? What is most important to you? These are some thoughts I have been pondering. What desires do I deem most worthy of the precious little time I have? What about you?

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. (Ephesians 5:15-17)

There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers. (Proverbs 6:16-19 NIV the context is everything)

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. (Colossians 4:5-6)

We all have desires and passions some are OK some are better, but what is best. How can I best use the time God has given me?

  • Brother Antonio,

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Heb. 4:16)

    Dear God,
Knowing every detail of my brothers’ strengths and weakness, his victories and defeats, his true heart passions and commitments; I ask Thee, Lord Jesus, to give him help in the areas that he needs it most… and me too. Amen.
