Priorities
I am finding so much in the Word about living an orderly life and having a proper perspective. Our desires are no less to be prioritized. What do you want?
We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true - even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (1John 5:18-20)
Are there any verses that you would like to share about priorities?
Thanks for reading,
Brother John

Faith is rather open-ended it seems--those who are born of the Spirit are like the wind they don't know where they came from or where they are going. Making priorities can sometimes limit our response to God's leading.
At the same time, we are to be aiming for something. Growing into Christ is obviously priority one. I like how Pual says, "this one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and pressing toward the mark of the high calling of Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13,14

Hi brother Jeff,
A-men and God bless you! I think that is my life verse. I would love to expound... alas I am in the middle of yet, another
"project".
Thanks for your visit.

There it is: the revelation of the character of God, His love for His creation and His plan for its redemption.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for that contribution. I was about to prepare a short post and I read your comment. It seems you have your priorities lined up with the Bible. 1John 5:20 will be certain to shine a light on our priorities. What a great reminder that as believers we possess so much and I for one, have done so little with it.
Thanks for this imparted wisdom, may it not diminish with the passing of time.
